I tried this only so i could see if it's a game specific problem but it looks like it's not. Then I tried downloading Tropico 6 -> same thing, showed me that it takes hours to download a 10 gig game. So then I tried all the pause/resume tricks (even stuff with my router), because the download completely stopped at some point -> reboot -> doesn't turn off again -> pull the plug -> safe mode again and initialize! I'm having a blast. I have 100mbps fiber if anyone wants to know so 5 gigs should not take that long. I finally got the game installed from the disk and then i started to download it's update file (5gigs) and no matter what i did the download time was always around 4hours (that's why the restarts/reboots). First time earlier today it took me around 4 hours (the same game). Installing a game from a disc (10gigs) takes me now over an hour. I noticed 7.01 update slowing down my download speeds from ps store but oh my how slow everything is now. I've also tried every option inside sade mode before initialising it but initialising is the only thing that works so my ps4 boots up again. Guess what usuallu happens next? You guessed it -> boot into recovery because ps4 could not start up. BUT with 7.02, oh man, my ps4 won't restart or shut down every time I try to, so I have to pull the plug after 5 mins of waiting or so. With 7.01 i had only few random errors like some games took about 15mins to boot up but reinstalling and so on fixed the problems mostly. I had no problems updating it normally through psn though. Now that 7.02 came out, I've done it twice already. It all started around 6.5ish update when I first had to initialize my ps4.
